Daily cleaning
Dentures generally need cleaning every day to remove food debris and plaque. Your dentist will advise on the brush and cleaning agents suited to your denture material; ordinary abrasive toothpaste is not always appropriate.
Handle with care
Dentures can fracture if dropped. Cleaning them over a folded towel or a basin of water reduces the risk of damage.
Look after your mouth too
The gums, tongue and any remaining teeth still need cleaning. Regular dental review remains important even when all natural teeth have been replaced.
