Signs worth reviewing
Persistent looseness, repeated sore spots, difficulty chewing, visible wear of the denture teeth, cracks, staining that will not clean off, or a changed appearance are all reasons to book a review.
Repair is not always the answer
Sometimes a reline restores fit; in other cases the denture has reached the end of its serviceable life. Only clinical examination can determine which applies.
Routine review
Even a comfortable denture benefits from periodic review, which also allows examination of the oral tissues underneath.
